Who we are

This website is operated by Uslu Design Studio, a design practice of Uslu Architects, operated by Usdesign İç Mimarlık Ticaret Limited Şirketi (Göztepe Tax Office, Tax No. 8940782476), Operator Cemil Topuzlu Cd. No:41/D, Fenerbahce, 34726 Kadikoy, Istanbul, Turkey. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

What we collect

Inquiry form. Your name, surname, email address, phone number and country code, the type of inquiry, the piece you are interested in, your message, and where you heard about us.

Newsletter. Your email address, if you choose to subscribe.

Technical data. If you accept cookies in the cookie banner, our analytics and advertising-measurement tools, Google Analytics and Meta Pixel, collect information such as your browser and device, approximate location, the pages you view, how you arrived at the site and whether you sent an inquiry. If you decline, these tools send nothing. Our hosting provider also records basic technical logs (such as IP address and pages requested) to keep the site secure and working.

How we use it

To reply to your inquiry and provide the information you asked for, including prices, availability, lead times and project details. This is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract.

If we cannot reach you by email, to contact you by phone or WhatsApp using the number you provide. We do not send automated WhatsApp messages.

To send you news about new collections, exhibitions and events, only if you have given your consent. You can withdraw this consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in each email or by contacting us.

To keep records required by law, for example for invoicing and tax purposes once a purchase is made.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the website and respond to you. These are: Vercel, which hosts this website; FormSubmit, which delivers the inquiry and newsletter forms to our mailbox; Google (Google Workspace and Gmail) for email correspondence; Mailchimp for our newsletter; Instantly for sending email communications; Meta (Meta Pixel, and WhatsApp when we contact you there) for measuring our advertising, only with your consent; and Google Analytics for site analytics, only with your consent. The typefaces used on the site are served from our own host, so no data is sent to Google Fonts.

Some of these providers may store data outside Turkey or the European Economic Area. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Inquiry details are kept for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless they become part of a purchase or project, in which case they are kept for as long as the law requires. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK), you may ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, restrict or object to its use, receive a copy of it, and withdraw your consent at any time.

To exercise these rights, email info@usludesign.studio. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK) or with the data protection authority in your country.

Cookies

We use two kinds of cookies and similar storage. Essential storage is needed for the site to work, for example to remember your cookie choice. Analytics and advertising cookies (Google Analytics and Meta Pixel) help us understand how visitors use the site and measure our advertising; these are only set if you accept them in the cookie banner.

You can change your cookie choices at any time through the cookie settings link at the bottom of the site, or by deleting cookies in your browser settings.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page, with the date of the last update shown at the top.
